The Government of Maharashtra Recognizes Chairman Pramod Deshmukh as ‘JALNAYAK’:

        The reputed institution SSM committed for sustainable development of rural community, took the initiative to do the work of drought mitigation.  Pramod Deshmukh, the chairman a leader with the vision learnt the adverse effect of drought likely to take place in advance to intensified the collaboration of 140 social NGO’s to fight against drought, as a part of this alongwith 140 NGO’s established ‘JANSATHI FORUM’, performing the work such as widening and deepening the irrigation canals, Rejuvenation of Canals, desilting of water resources.
        A glance on the work that has been undertaken by SSM as drought relief measure, which resulted into increase of ground water level of the vicinity and availability of water for agricultural use.
1)      Rejuvenation Revival of water canal located  at Minki (Tq. Biloli), Kandhar, Kathewadi (Tq. Degloor) Adampur.
2)      Did the work of desilting from the lakes located at Sagroli, Biloli, Kandhar, Khanapur, Narangal, above all as a result of this 1200 year old historic ‘Jantung’ lake for the first time seemed to be impregnated with water.
3)      The work of Drought mitigation was carried out at 700 villages across the Marathawada region.  Under the programme ‘MNREGA’ intentionally promoted by SSM.
4)      Hon. Pramod Deshmukh took the initiative to give the relief to village Nagdarwadi of Loha Tahsil, which was strilan with seviour drought considering the contribution in the field of social work and study on climate changing Pramod Deshmukh was awarded Full Bright Fellowship by America and he persuaded his education in MSc. Agri.
